Mr. Ianne Mher Hernandez, spouse of Vice Consul and Acting Head of Post of the Philippine Consulate General in Xiamen, was invited by the Manila-Xiamen International School (MXIS) to be the resource speaker for the Professional Development Workshop of its Filipino teachers, held on 21 August 2021 at the Vienna International Hotel in Xiamen City. The day-long activity, titled, “Empowering Your Verbal and Non-Verbal Disposition Inside and Outside the Classroom,” was attended by eighteen (18) of the school’s Filipino teachers and Administrators.

Mr. Hernandez’s participation in the professional development workshop is part of the Consulate General’s continuing efforts to assist the Filipino Community within Fujian and Jiangxi provinces. He taught Filipino at the Ateneo de Manila University for eleven (11) years and finished his Bachelors’ Degree in AB Interdisciplinary Studies and Master’s Degree in Basic Education at the same institution.
