Xiamen City, 25 September 2021 --- In view of the recurrence of COVID-19 in Fujian Province in China, the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) through the Philippine Consulate General in Xiamen distributed 261 Emergency Care Packages consisting of food supplies to Filipinos whose livelihoods have been affected by the recent surge of COVID-19 in Fujian Province.
Mr. Uwe Schall, Mr. Jose Noel Antivola and Ms. Elaine Lok of Xiamenlife, as well as Mr. Roger Ding of Landy International also donated hand sanitizers to be included in the Care Packages.
The Consulate General will continue to extend assistance and support to Filipinos affected by the surge of Covid-19 in Fujian and Jiangxi Provinces, People’s Republic of China.
