MassKara Festival 1.1

After surviving a crisis in the 1980s, the people of Bacolod City decided to start a festival that uplifts the spirits of the locals, hence the MassKara Festival was born. It is a declaration of the people’s collective will to rise up and survive the challenges and tragedies that they are facing.

As we celebrate in February the National Arts Month, let us revisit Bacolod City to see its beauty, artistry and cultural heritage through the MassKara Festival which uplifts the spirits of the locals albeit crisis and problems.
