22 April 2022 – The Philippine Consulate General in Xiamen has successfully facilitated the repatriation of four (4) Filipinos from Xiamen City via Xiamen Gaoqi International Airport.
Amid the COVID-19 Pandemic, the Consulate General extended efforts to be able to reach and assist Filipino nationals in distress in Fujian and Jiangxi provinces. It also coordinated with DFA-OUMWA for the facilitation of quarantine facilities for the repatriates.
The Consulate General will continue to provide assistance in repatriating Filipinos as part of the Philippine Government’s COVID-19 response program. - END
