Xiamen, 6 July 2022 ---   Consul General Maria Antonina M. Mendoza-Oblena with PCG Xiamen personnel and lawyers and investment specialists of Yingke Law Office Xiamen had a forum on investment and legal matters.  With 106 branches throughout China, Yingke, founded in 2001 in Beijing, is the largest law firm in China.  Its office in Xiamen has more than 200 lawyers.

Yingke Xiamen Director Zhang Youwei, in his remarks, said that the Philippines is an important partner of China and an important member of ASEAN.   Yingke Philippines has provided legal and business services to Philippine-funded enterprises and to more than 100 Chinese-funded enterprises in the Philippines, promoting China’s total investment in the Philippines to reach US$200Million.

Yingke investment specialists cited the Philippines for its excellent human resource – a young, dynamic and well- educated population as a major incentive for companies wanting to do business in the Philippines.  They also appreciated the incentive packages provided by Philippine economic zones such as PEZA, CEZA, etc.  The Forum discussed matters relating to business and trade, investment, immigration, assistance-to-nationals, administration and property management.
