As a fitting culmination of his 4-day trip to Fujian Province, Undersecretary Jesus S. Domingo met with Filipino business leaders in Xiamen in a sumptuous lunch hosted by Eton General Manager Mr. Benito Choa. The meeting was attended by representatives of SM, Robinsons, Boysen, Filipino Association in Xiamen (FAX), Manila Xiamen International School (MXIS), One Shang Health Care Consultancy, Yingke Global, and Sunnjef Plantation Inc.

Undersecretary Domingo informed the Filipino business leaders that his trip is the start of a series of multi sectoral missions to strengthen cooperation and collaboration with (China) Fujian Province. He also announced that, in keeping with the President’s and the Secretary of Foreign Affairs’ directives, the e-visa will be launched before the end of the year.

The Filipino leaders were appreciative of the visit and expressed hope that more Philippine government leaders will visit Xiamen.
