Ambassador Jaime A. FlorCruz expressed hope for more Philippines-China economic engagements and partnerships particularly in the shipping industry during the Global Insights into Chinese Enterprises forum titled “Connecting the World: Digital and Green Cosco Shipping Around the World” on 7 September 2023 at the Xiamen International Convention Center (XICC).

Amb. FlorCruz said that he looks forward to a robust international trade and commerce for the Philippines because of its strategic geographical position – a perfect hub for freight and logistics market.

The Cosco Forum was also attended by Xiamen Mayor Huang Wenhui and Xiamen Vice-Mayor Zhuang Rongliang. The Forum is part of the 23rd China International Fair for Investment and Trade (CIFIT) held in Xiamen, Fujian Province, China from 6 to 11 September 2023.
