The Philippine flag was raised for the first time at the newly-opened chancery of the Philippine Consulate General in Xiamen at the Consular Area. CG Tonette Oblena led the Consulate officials at the flag ceremony which was followed by a blessing officiated by Fr. Zhou Fei. Special guests were Architect Tecson Uy and Interior Designer Liz Go who led the renovation and design of the Filipino-themed chancery. Marc Tan and Ron Calingasan who served delicious Filipino breakfast after the event were also present.
