Officers and members of the Economic Association of Returned Overseas Chinese from the Philippines in Shishi (EARPS) led by its Founder Mr. Wu Qing Tan paid a courtesy call on Consul General Ma. Antonina M. Mendoza-Oblena at the new Chancery premises on 23 January 2024 and discussed areas of cooperation for the year.

EARPS is an association of Chinese business people who have either lived, studied or worked in the Philippines. They usually have continuing business interests in the Philippines. They have proven to be veritable partners of PCG Xiamen for the past years.

EARPS also shared the news that they have likewise moved their headquarters to a different location, and that they have lined-up a series of activities for the year.

Mr. Wu was joined during the visit by EARPS Executive Chairman Joe Wu, Chairman Honking Hong, Standing Vice-Chairmen Andy Xu and Yirong Cai, Deputy Secretary General Amy Wang and members Anthony Wang, Nenggen Shi, Samie Wang, Arvin Yao, and Shijie Huang, as well as its Secretary Anna Chen.
