Christmas in the Philippines is like no other in the world!
This was the gist of the presentation of Consul General Julius Caesar A. Flores before a crowd of 600 guests during the annual Christmas gathering of the Christian Business Men Association (CBMA), Xiamen City Chapter.
He invited all guests to visit the Philippines and “have more fun” specially during the holiday season.
Consul General Flores highlighted the most important symbols of Filipino Christmas traditions including the parol, the Belen and the Christmas tree. He also cited several factors, including the fusion of indigenous, Spanish and American cultures, which are attributed to creating a unique, colorful and lengthy Christmas celebration in the Philippines.
