PHILCONGEN XIAMEN RESUMES OVERSEAS VOTERS REGISTRATION
12 May 2014 - The Philippine Consulate General in Xiamen resumed overseas voting registration on 06 May 2014 for qualified voters in Fujian and Jiangxi provinces, both under the jurisdiction of the Consulate General.
Post’s first registrant, Mr. Jone B. Delfin, spouse of one of the Consulate General’s personnel, volunteered as an early registrant to encourage other eligible voters to participate in the ongoing registration, which will last until 31 October 2015 in preparation for the 2016 National Elections.
Consul General Julius Caesar A. Flores, the Consulate General’s Resident Election Registration Board (RERB) Chairperson, witnessed the registration of Mr. Delfin.
