XIAMEN PCG LAUNCHES COMMEMORATIVE LOGO DESIGN CONTEST

Consul General Julius Flores launched the Consulate General's Logo Design Contest as part of the commemorative activities for the 20th Anniversary of the Consulate General's establishment in Xiamen in January 1995.

The announcement was made during the "The Red Carpet" Christmas party organized by the Filipino Association in Xiamen (FAX) which was attended by 500 guests at the Kempinski Hotel on 6 December 2014.

The Contest is open only to Filipino graphic designers based in Xiamen and Fujian province who will work on the theme "Moving Forward in the Present and in the Future". The winning entry will be used by the Consulate General for promotional and memorabilia purposes for its 20th anniversary activities.

Consul General Flores commended FAX for organizing this annual CHRISTMAS gathering which brings together the Filipino community and their foreign friends from Xiamen and other parts of Fujian province. FAX was also congratulated for its productive and dynamic year in 2014 with its series of various projects. END
