Xiamen PCG Achieves its Overseas Voting Registration Target

The Philippine Consulate General in Xiamen has recently achieved the targeted 100 Overseas Voting (OV) registrants for the 2016 national elections in compliance with CIR-1461-OVS-2014 dated 09 July 2014 with the registration of Ms. Maria Krestina Belangoy of Piñan, Zamboanga del Norte. Ms. Belangoy is an OFW currently based in Quanzhou City.
The Consulate General has registered a total of four hundred and twenty five (425) voters, excluding the 100 new registrants since OV registration began on 06 May 2014.
Notwithstanding this recent development, The Consulate General continues to encourage all qualified Filipino voters in Fujian and Jiangxi provinces who have not yet registered for overseas voting to do so on or before 31 October 2015.
