Consul General Julius Caesar A. Flores met recently with Ms. Bobo Wang, Sales Department, Xiamen West Bay Cruise City Investment Co., Ltd., Shanghai Skysea Cruise Travel Co., Ltd. (Skysea) General Manager Mr. Clement Zhang, Vice General Manager, Ms. Yang Li Li and Ms. Candy Li of China International Travel Services (CITS)-Xiamen/Philippine Desk.

The cruise officials informed that the following cruise tours are scheduled for 2017: 1) 07-12 July 2017, 6-day/5-night Xiamen-Manila-Boracay cruise tour joint venture between Skysea and the Royal Caribbean Cruise company with 2,000 tourists mostly from Fujian province; and, 2) 18-23 October 2017, another operator, the Princess Cruise, is organizing a larger group, with at least 3,000 tourists, using the same cruise routes.

Consul General Flores suggested for Skysea to consider other tourists destinations in the Philippines (i.e. Batangas, Vigan, Bohol, Cebu and Davao) in their future cruise tour operations to the Philippines.
