39th National Disability Prevention and Rehabilitation Week at the Consulate General’s Bulwagang Bayan/Heroes Hall on 24 July 2017.
24 July 2017—To commemorate the 39th National Disability Prevention and Rehabilitation (NDPR) Week, Consul General Julius Caesar A. Flores led personnel from the Philippine Consulate General in Xiamen in reciting the Loyalty Pledge of an Advocate of the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, and delivered the message of Secretary Judy Taguiwalo of the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD).
Consul General Flores reminded the assembled personnel that as public servants, each and every one should always be aware of, as well as uphold and respect the rights of persons with disabilities at all times in the course of the performance of their duties and functions and dealings with the general public END
