Consul General Julius Caesar A. Flores led VIP guests during the opening of the Philippine Food Festival on 14 July 2017 held at Xiamen’s C&D Hotel’s Green Yard Restaurant.

VIP guests included Xiamen Foreign Overseas and Chinese Affairs Office (FOCAO) Director General Li Xiao Pin, visiting exchange professor Dr. Raul Sunico, SM Malls-China GM Johanna Wu and PAL-Xiamen Manager Karen Wu.

The Food Festival ran from 14 to 23 July 2017.

As a valuable partner for its cultural diplomacy thrusts, the Consulate General has previously collaborated with C&D Hotel during the biennial Nanyang (Southeast Asian) Culture Festivals held in 2014 and 2016.

During the Philippine-Fujian Week held in Manila this year, C&D Hotel supported the Consulate General by partnering with Century Park Hotel in staging the Fujian Food Festival held from 1 to 9 June 2017 END
