Philippine Consul General to Xiamen Julius Caesar A. Flores met Mr. Danny Liwanag, President, Roppets Edutainment Production, Inc. at the closing ceremony of the 5th China Quanzhou International Puppet Festival in Jinjiang City on 11 December 2017.
Mr. Liwanag led the Filipino puppeteers who participated in the Festival along with other 30 performing troupes from China and other countries.
The performing troupes showcased their skills and talents in public venues including theaters and schools in various locations in Quanzhou and Jinjiang cities. The Festival provided an excellent platform for cooperation and exchanges among theater artists from other countries.
The Puppet Festival was organized by the 3rd Silk Road Festival Committee and the UNESCO UNIMA China which ran from 08 – 11 December 2017.
