The Manila Xiamen International School commemorated its 25th Founding Anniversary with a three-day festivity on 21 - 23 March 2018 held at its school grounds which was highlighted by the opening parade, field demonstrations, musical presentations, fund raisings as well as presentation of recognitions/awards to its officials, employees and alumni.
Consul General Julius Caesar A. Flores who attended the event as Guest of Honor, delivered special remarks during the opening and closing ceremonies. Consul General Flores expressed his warm congratulations to Engineer Roman and Mildred Go, Chairman and School Headmaster respectively, as well as to MXIS officials and students in recognition of its accomplishments as a highly regarded institution for the international community in Xiamen.
Consul General Flores also lauded the MXIS for its valuable partnership with the Consulate General’s cultural and economic diplomacy programs.
Rousing performances on the “Beauty and the Beast” and “Mulan” musical presentations by MXIS students with special participations from the students of Saint Gabriel International School, MXIS’s partner school in Manila capped the celebrations.
MXIS was established 25 years ago as Fujian province’s first international school, which now has grown to become an embodiment of success in education from the Asia-Pacific region and beyond.
