Consul General Julius Caesar A. Flores led the flag raising ceremony at the Consulate General’s grounds on Monday, 11 June 2018, as part of its commemoration of the 120th Anniversary of the Proclamation of Philippine Independence with the theme “Pagbabagong Ipinaglaban, Alay sa Masaganang Kinabukasan”.
In his message, Consul General underscored that given this years’ Independence Day theme, the event was an opportunity for the Filipinos in Fujian province to renew their spirit of patriotism and called on the Filipinos in Fujian province to be united and work together with the aim of contributing to the Philippine Government’s thrusts towards national development and progress.
Members of the Filipino community and the Consulate General’s officers and staff and their families attended this simple but meaningful event.
