The Philippine Consulate General in Xiamen successfully launched the Overseas Absentee Voting (OAV) for 2019 National Elections in its premises on 13 April 2019. A total of four (4) Filipinos cast their ballots on the first day of voting.
Among the early voters were officers of the Filipino Association in Xiamen (FAX).
A total of 683 qualified voters (of which 222 are new registrants) are registered in the Philippine Consulate General’s area of jurisdiction - Fujian and Jiangxi Provinces.
