PCG XIAMEN VISITS JUNCAO TECHNOLOGY RESEARCH CENTER

 Xiamen, 19 October 2020 - Following up on leads gained during the 2020 China International Fair for Investment and Trade (CIFIT) where the Philippines was Guest Country of Honor, Acting Head of Post Vice Consul Elaine Mae V. Laruan-Hernandez, Political/Economic Officer Faith P. Bautista and Local Hire Chunyan Yang visited the Fujian Agriculture and Forestry University – China National Engineering Research Center for Juncao Technology on 16 October 2020 to take a closer look at the “Green Messenger of the Belt and Road” to determine its applicability to Philippine agriculture in the interest of poverty alleviation and protecting the environment.

The PCG team met with Professor Lin Zhanxi, Chief Scientist of the Center and Founder/Discoverer of the Technology and his daughter, Dr. Lin Dongmei, Vice-Director for International cCooperation and Vice-Director for National Engineering Research Center of Juncao Technology.

Juncao Technology, already promoted to 105 countries since 1992, is said to be an effective mushroom substrate and is useful for soil erosion control, saline-alkali soil management, fodder and spent substrate forage, and biomass energy, among other things.

During the 2020 CIFIT, a Letter of Intent for Cooperation was signed between WHP Prime Master Holdings Inc from the Philippines and China Fujian Zhengyuan Juncao International coopration Ltd to promote cooperation in the field of green agriculture, sustainable development, industrialization of agriculture and poverty reduction.
