The finale will feature the children of Mindanao. Selected children from ages 10-16 coming from various parts of the region will share their narrative through dance, song, and poetry on how art have influenced their lives. In the evening, a pre-recorded Rondalla Concerto by the survivors and orphans of Typhoon Sendong will cap off the Lecture Series.
“The National Arts Month 2021 celebration seeks to conserve, promote, and popularize Filipino artistic creations; integrate the arts in the community life; and harness the arts as catalysts for values education.”
This Lecture Series’ theme and the National Arts Month Theme “Alab Sining, Alay Sigla” synergized the message of integrating arts in the community and encourages the youth to keep the passion for arts aflame.
