Xiamen, 24 May 2021—Vice Consul and Acting Head of Post Elaine Mae Laruan-Hernandez attended the 2021 Jiangxi Tourism Industry Development Conference, held on 17-19 May 2021 in Jingdezhen City, Jiangxi Province.
 
The three-day event focused on the rich cultural and historical heritage of Jingdezhen, particularly the art of making china or porcelain.
 
The high-quality Ming Dynasty porcelain pieces excavated from various archeological sites in the Philippines were said to have come from Jingdezhen.
